History of Innovation

1999

  • Vaculift, Inc. began doing business as Vacuworx International in Tulsa, Oklahoma
  • Original lifter design (EC 6) had the power source mounted on the rear of the excavator

2000

  • First self-contained RC Series Vacuum Lifting System (RC 10) introduced, revolutionizing how contractors handle pipe in the field

2006

  • RC Series expanded to include the RC 16

2007

  • Vacuworx diversified its capabilities with the development of flat pads to lift materials such as steel plate and concrete slab
  • Vacuworx moved into its current 60,000 square foot facility
  • RC 12 and RC 20 added to the RC Series

2009

  • “Mini” MC 3 Vacuum Lifting System introduced featuring a gasoline (instead of diesel) engine
  • First annual Tulsa Pipeline Expo held to showcase Oklahoma based companies
  • Inaugural VIROC (Vacuworx Invitational Race of Champions) held at the Chili Bowl Nationals

2010

  • MC 5 added to the MC Series
  • Eagle Gift Foundation started as a way for Vacuworx to give back to community
  • Vacuworx expanded its global footprint with operations in Australia

2012

  • First generation of the Concrete Road Barrier System designed and tested utilizing vacuum technology

2013

  • Vacuworx Netherlands (now Vacuworx Europe) established to serve the European market

2014

  • HDD Pipe Handling System introduced
  • Tough Seal™ pad seal developed
  • With the growth of the Tulsa Pipeline Expo, it was renamed to The Pipeline + Energy Expo
  • Vacuworx earned ISO Certification

2015

  • Octapad Concrete Slab Lifting System designed with 8 independent vacuum pads
  • Hydraulically operated models offered for all RC Series Lifters and MC 5
  • First Vacuworx non-vacuum lifting system, the HL Series HL B1 Hydraulic Lifter introduced

2016

  • Compact Equipment Attachment line announced featuring the PS 1 and SL 2
  • AMC Series Vacuum Lifting Systems developed for truck mounted and excavator mounted applications

2017

  • CM 3 Compact Modular Vacuum Lifting System introduced
  • HL B2 added to the HL Series
  • RC 25 developed to meet the demands of larger and heavier material
